Forex signals today: which of the 7 major pairs have a Signal

You copy a signal from a channel, get in without knowing why, and when the price turns you can't tell whether to wait or get out. There's no entry here. Every week this page tells you if each of the 7 major pairs is expensive or at a discount, by the economy of its two currencies, and since which month.

The forex signals of the 7 major pairs this week

Model run of October 12, 2026: USDJPY (+5%, expensive), USDCHF (+10%, expensive) and USDCAD (+17%, expensive) have a Signal; EURUSD, GBPUSD, AUDUSD and NZDUSD don't.

The Signal and the ranks are those of the latest model run, which is redone every week.

Today 74 of the 210 pairs the model measures have a live Signal. The MetaTrader tools show which ones, on the chart of each pair.

The number is the one you see in the header of the MetaTrader chart: with a plus, in red, the pair is expensive; with a minus, in green, the pair is at a discount. The ranks go from 1, the strongest currency by the economy of its country, to 23, the weakest, the same as in the currency strength meter.

How to read the table

Each row is a major pair and, if it has a Signal, the sign says which side it's on. If it says "No Signal now", the fundamentals don't mark that pair this week, and that's the usual case.

A worked example

Take USDCAD, which has a Signal of +17% today: the pair is expensive. It started in May 2026, 5 months ago, and the Signal has been fading since. By each country's economy, USD ranks 17th of 23 and CAD 3rd, so CAD is 14 places ahead of USD.

The ranks tell you how each currency's economy is doing today. The Signal tells you if the pair moved away from normal, and how long ago. That's why it's worth checking when it started before you look at the number: a recent Signal is higher, and it falls as the months go by.

What to do with this

If a major pair has a Signal, you know which side the fundamentals see it on and since when. If it doesn't, there's nothing to force. In both cases the technical analysis can always be done.

The Signal tells you which side the pair is on, never when to get in. That's decided on the chart: in the LDP (Lenguaje del Precio) method I wait for the daily and the weekly to be on my side, and then for the trigger on the close of a candle, with a relevant Level nearby. If the chart doesn't confirm, there's no entry, even if the fundamentals are shouting. Waiting is what costs most of us, and the emotional muscle that holds it is built by speculating, with a little more weight each week.

What the Signal is and what it isn't

What it measures

Our model puts each currency against the history of its own country: 23 currencies and 17 data points from the economy of each one, redone every week. From that comes how far each pair is from normal, because a pair joins two economies and one of them can be far ahead of the other. When a pair moves far enough, its Signal is born, and over the months it fades until it goes out.

Why a minus sign means a discount

In the header of the MetaTrader chart, the minus means discount, the same as in stocks, where a −30% is a cheap company.

What the Signal isn't

It says which side the pair is on according to the fundamentals, and since when. It isn't an order to buy or sell, and it promises nothing. The moment to enter is decided by each person on their own chart, and on the chart you always wait.

Why the 7 major pairs

Because they're the ones people search for and trade the most: EURUSD, GBPUSD, USDJPY, USDCHF, AUDUSD, USDCAD and NZDUSD. The model measures many more pairs, and the counter above says how many have a Signal today.

How often it changes

The model is redone every week, so the Signal and the ranks change at that pace. Looking at them every hour tells you nothing new, and for those of us who trade the daily and the weekly charts it's all we need.

Frequently asked questions

Are forex signals reliable?

No signal can guarantee a result, and I'd be wary of any that does. Ours promises nothing: it says whether the fundamentals still favor one side of the pair, and you decide the entry on your own chart.

Do forex signals work?

A signal can't work for you if you don't know why you're in the trade. When you copy a call with an entry and a stop, you can't check it, and when the price turns you don't know whether to wait or get out. Ours tells you which side the economy favors and since when, and the entry stays with you.

Are forex signals worth it?

I'd first ask whether you can check what you're paying for. With a paid signal group you usually can't. Here there's nothing to pay, and you can follow every Signal week by week, with the month it started, and judge it yourself.

How do forex signals work?

Most of them are a call to buy or sell a pair at a price, with a stop and a target, sent to you by a group or an app. Ours works differently: it shows which side of the pair the fundamentals favor, and since which month. The chart decides the entry.

How can I get free forex signals?

This page is free and has no sign-up: you see the Signal of the 7 major pairs, which side each one is on and since which month. It doesn't give entry prices or stops. The other pairs of the model show up in the MetaTrader tools.

How much do forex signals cost?

Prices vary a lot from one service to another, and a high price doesn't make a signal better. This page costs nothing. The MetaTrader tools, which show the Signal of every pair in the model on its own chart, are a paid product.

How many major currency pairs are there?

Seven: EURUSD, GBPUSD, USDJPY, USDCHF, AUDUSD, USDCAD and NZDUSD. They all include the US dollar and they're the ones traded the most, which is why the table starts with them.

What is fundamental analysis in forex?

It means looking at the economy behind each currency of a pair, like interest rates, inflation, jobs and growth, to see which one is stronger. In the table you see the rank of each currency among the 23 in the model, which is the result of that analysis.

Does the Signal say when to enter, buy or sell?

No, never. The Signal says which side the pair is on, and not when to get in. That's decided on the chart, with the daily and the weekly on your side, and until the chart confirms, there's no entry.

Do you send forex signals by email or by messaging app?

No. You look at this page whenever you want. It doesn't send you messages or ask for your phone number, and it's redone every week, which is enough for those of us who trade the daily and the weekly.

Are there live forex signals?

Not in real time, and that's on purpose. The model is redone every week, and the Signal you see is from that run. A signal that changes every minute is made for the shortest charts. We decide with what holds for weeks and months.

What is today's forex signal for EURUSD?

Look at the first row of the table. If it says "No Signal now", the fundamentals don't mark the pair this week. If it shows a number, it's the same one you see in the header of the MetaTrader chart, with its side and the month it started.

What does "No Signal now" mean?

That this week the fundamentals don't mark that pair, or that its Signal already faded out. The technical analysis can always be done, Signal or not.

Why does the Signal show a minus sign?

Because in the header of the MetaTrader chart, the minus means discount. A pair at −17% is at a discount and shows in green. One at +17% is expensive and shows in red.

How often do the signals change?

Every week, when the model is redone. A Signal fades over the months until it goes out, although a pair that moves away from normal again can get a new one.

Does this signal work for day trading?

Everything moves faster on minute charts, that's true, but this Signal comes from the fundamentals, and the fundamentals take months to show up in the price. That's why we use it with the daily and the weekly.

Is there a forex signals indicator for MT4 and MT5?

Yes, in the MetaTrader tools: the Signal shows in the header of the chart of each pair, with its side and the month it started, and a filter shows the pairs that have one. Here you see the 7 majors.

How many pairs have a signal today?

The counter under the table says it: how many pairs have a live Signal out of all the ones the model measures. We don't publish which ones.

MetaTrader tools

Here you see seven pairs; in MetaTrader you see every pair in the model, each on its own chart

The MetaTrader tools show this same Signal in the header of the chart of each pair, with its side and the month it started, and a filter lists the pairs that have one. You decide which ones to look at and when. The tools don't open a single trade for you.

Where the data comes from

  • The Signal and the ranks come from the TendenciasFX model: 23 currencies and 17 data points from the economy of each country, each one against the history of its own country, recalculated every week. From it we publish the Signal of the 7 major pairs, the rank of their currencies and how many pairs have a Signal, and nothing else.
  • The ranks are the same as in the currency strength meter, because they come from the same run.
